Hypervisor-Protected Code Integrity (HVCI) is an advanced security feature in Windows that helps protect your system from malware and unauthorized code execution. By utilizing virtualization-based security (VBS), HVCI ensures that only trusted, signed drivers and software can run, reducing the risk of exploits and kernel-level attacks.
At Esportal, we prioritize fair play and a secure gaming environment. To strengthen security and prevent cheating, we require HVCI to be enabled for all users starting soon. Enabling HVCI helps block cheats and unauthorized malicious software from compromising your system.
If your system is not compliant, the Esportal Anti-Cheat client will tell you and you have the chance to let it enable it for you.
In case that effort fails or you want to do it manually, please follow these steps:
1. Open Windows Security (Press Win + S, type Windows Security, and press Enter.)
2. In Windows Security, click Device security in the left menu.
3. Under Core isolation, click Core isolation details.
4. Find the Memory integrity toggle and switch it to On.
If prompted, restart your computer for the changes to take effect.
