When a match reaches a score of 12-12, the game does not end in a tie on Esportal. Instead, it enters into an exciting phase known as overtime, where teams have the opportunity to prove their skills and determination to secure a victory.

Our current overtime format is called MR3 10k$. MR3 stands for "3 round halves," meaning each team gets a chance to play as both terrorists and counter-terrorists for three rounds in each half of the overtime. The team that wins four rounds in the overtime emerges as the winner.

In MR3 10k$, each team starts with a sum of $10,000 in-game currency, allowing them to purchase the necessary weapons, equipment, and utilities to strategize and execute their gameplay effectively. This format ensures that teams have enough resources to showcase their tactical abilities and make impactful decisions throughout the overtime rounds.

In the event that the overtime ends with a tied score of 3-3, indicating that both teams have won an equal number of rounds, the MR3 format will reset, and the overtime will continue until we have a decisive victory.
