If you receiving an error like "This object must not be opened in a transaction", it is most likely caused by previously having the client installed on an external disk. It can be solved by manually removing the registry key: "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\Esportal Client Installer" and then trying again.

There are two ways to open Registry Editor in Windows 10/11:

1. In the search box on the taskbar, type regedit, then select Registry Editor (Desktop app) from the results.
2. Right-click Start , then select Run. Type regedit in the Open: box, and then select OK.
